Located
in the Delhi-Jaipur highway, on the outskirts of Jaipur, Amber Palace is a
breathtakingly beautiful complex of palaces, halls, pavilions, gardens and
temples. A spectacular pillared hall, Diwan-e-Aam and a double storeyed
painted gateway-Ganesh pole dominate the front courtyard. All the buildings
within the complex are finished with intricate carvings that add to their
beauty.

Palace, the formal royal residence is an example of the excellence of Rajput
and Mughal architectural styles. The carved arches supported by grey-white
marble columns and marble statues of two elephants guarding the entrance are
sure to leave you spellbound. A collection of rare artifacts in the museum
adds to the splendor of this palace.
Located
in the heart of Jaipur, five-storey building of Hawa Mahal is an
architectural splendor. The exterior of the building includes semioctangonal
and delicately honey combed windows that impart a majestic appeal to the
whole monument. The intricate stone work on the exteriors is also worth more
than a mere glimpse.
Located
on a 80-meter high hill, housing the entire township within its ramparts,
Jaisalmer Fort is a place where world famous 'Desert Festival' is organized
every year. It is approached through four gateways- Akhilya Pol, Ganesh Pol,
Suraj Pol and Hava Pol. The entire fort is an enchanting web of lanes that
are dotted with havelis, temples and palaces.
Located
in the Pink City of Jaipur, Jantar Mantar is a stone observatory whose
shapes and settings are designed on scientific principles. It includes the
incredible brick curves, circle and pillars, curves and slants that were
used to calculate the movement of the planets. Here, a total of eighteen
instruments represent the high points of Indian astronomy including the
famous Samrat Yantra, Jaiprakash Yantra and the Ram Yantras.

only temple in the world dedicated to Lord Brahma, it is located in the holy
city of Pushkar. The temple is marked by a red spire and over the entrance
gateway is a beautiful statue of goose- the celestial carrier of Lord
Brahma. The impressive layout of the temple adds to its attraction.
The
formidable Junagarh Fort has remained unconquered through the ages. It has a
986 meter-long wall with 37 bastions and two entrances. The palaces within
the fort makes a picturesque ensemble of courtyards, balconies, kiosks,
towers and windows dotted all over the structure.
